CORE VALUES

Professionalism - Dominate preparation.

  • Present and conduct yourself when no one is watching as you would with five scouts in the room.

  • Early is on time. You have dressed appropriately, ready to go.

  • Be the first one in, last one out.

  • Dominate every rep, swing, throw, drill, is done with concentration and focus.

  • Care for your equipment.

  • No small stone left unturned. Get good at the boring stuff.

  • Clean up after yourself.

  • Discipline is Freedom.

    • The more we dot our I’s and cross our T’s, the more opportunities we gain in life.

Be a GREAT teammate.

  • The first step to becoming a great leader.

  • Learn from those above you, lift those below you.

  • Compete with and demand more out of those who are better than you. Lay a hand out to those who are struggling. We all know how it feels to have an older/better player give us a pat on the back. Be that guy, often.

  • The team and your teammates take priority over yourself. If the members of the team care more about others, the organization thrives. Personal accolades come pouring into those who are on successful teams.

  • Commodore thrives through a unified struggle. We are all in this together.

Humility/Seek Criticism.

  • Find ways to improve your current self.

  • Never assume you have it figured out. The more you learn, the more you realize you don’t understand

  • Actions speak louder than words.

  • Our performance on the field will speak for itself.

Earned Confidence

  • Confidence is keeping the promises you make to yourself.

  • Dominate in here, dominate out there.

Authenticity

  • Be Genuine.

  • Conforming to others is lame.

  • Be the very best version of YOU.

Sleep

  • Sleep is the number one performance-enhancing drug, and it’s free.

  • Lack of consistent sleep reduces reaction time, recovery, strength, endurance, capacity to learn and adapt to opponents and training. It increases the injury rate, stress, and fat accumulation.

  • You work here won’t matter much if you're not sleeping.

  • Want an edge over your opponent? Out-sleep them! Wake up and go to bed at the same time each day, even weekends.
